Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is pleased to announce a request for applications to the Texas Farm and Ranch Lands Conservation Program (TFRLCP) for funding during the FY biennium. Applications will be accepted beginning March 1, through Ap. Application instructions can be found under How To Apply. The Farm and Ranch Lands Protection Program (FRPP) is a voluntary program of Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) whose purpose is to protect agricultural lands by limiting non-agricultural uses. Landowners sign a deed of easement restricting development of the property and agreeing to maintain the land according to an approved Conservation Plan. Reserve Program, Grassland Reserve Program, and Farm and Ranch Lands Protection Program into the Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (ACEP) by providing financial and technical assistance to help conserve agricultural lands and wetlands and their related benefits.
